Sometimes They Look Like Us
Sometimes they look like us, I mean the Liberal Left.
I post on several blogs such as NowPublic, Free Republic.com and a few more.
As you probably know, we have many points of view on many articles and posts,at any given time, around the Blogisphere.
I have mine and others have theirs. The one trait that I see, and this is probably just my being a conservative and truly loving God and my Country and believing that I am right, is people with Socialist or extreme left-wing points of view, tend to play themselves up as a patriotic person with freedom for all as their “mantra” Pseudo freedom really.
Thanks goes to all of the true brave American Military who wish to, and do, serve this great country with honor and dignity. Not for what the Government can do for them with a past military career and benefits, etc,(not much of a benefit package) but what they do for each and every one of us every day. Putting their lives on the line knowing that there is a war going on and still volunteering to protect all of us.
We have a movement here in this country, with a hidden agenda, that is trying to weaken and undermine all that we have built on the backs of true heroes and great Americans. You heard all the “Buzz Words” like Socialist, Communist, Left-Wing extremists , New Democrats,Politically Correct and so on.

On January 17, 1931, the Special House (of Representatives) Committee to Investigate Communist Activities in the United States issued a report which stated the following:
“The American Civil Liberties Union is closely affiliated with the communist movement in the United States, and fully 90% of its efforts are on behalf of Communists who have come into conflict with the law. It claims to stand for free speech, free press, and free assembly; but it is quite apparent that the main function of the ACLU is to attempt to protect the communists in their advocacy of force and violence to overthrow the Government, replacing the American flag with a red flag and erecting a Soviet Government in place of the republican form of government guaranteed to each State by the Federal Constitution…Roger N. Baldwin, its guiding spirit, makes no attempt to hide his friendship for the communists and their principles.”

I can go on with entities and groups working to empower their cause and themselves by trying to weaken and destroy America with the blind support from individuals either lacking the basic intelligence that God gave a gnat, or they welcome this travesty with open arms because they are helpless failures and need the Government to wipe their asses for them. but I think you get my point.

And BTW, I never called you a communist I said “Some have bragged about being in the US Military, and support for President Clinton, and how their family said they were crazy for joining (bit of a personal rant here against a specific NP blogger, you know who you are.) Remember where Kerry got bragging about his military career?? and who took him down? Swift Boat Veterans For Truth.
Just because you have served in the military under Clinton,as you proudly state, and harbor hateful and demeaning views about America, at the same time, does not make you a hero in my book. Did you see me calling you a communist anywhere in there?
This statement was used to anger the g mail poster and I had my suspicions, but wanted to see for sure, who it was.
Anyway, I don’t wish to waste our time fighting. I am glad to see that you post on a blog and I truly believe that you are absolutely entitled to your opinions, and I to mine. Sometimes political viewpoints become personal attacks and I do not wish to go there.

10 or so years ago we probably shared the same party. But the people that you quote and like: Limbaugh, Coulter, Malkin and other similar characters that went after Bill Clinton made me what I am today. Our budget is non-existent, debt is astronomically high while the rich are getting richer by the day. I have kept some of my conservative values with me, but I am a growing number of Americans today that now consider themselves a Democrat.
Ok I can understand where you are coming from. However I am not a Republican, nor do I take for granted that what every GOP mouthpiece says is the truth. I pick and choose my articles. The ones that voice my, Reagan Conservative viewpoint, it just so happens that some of the people that you named, have some of my same views and most of the time, proof to back up what they say, or at least sources that I can check out for myself, which I do.
I, like many, believe that the Democratic party of yesteryear, have been hijacked by the extreme left. I would have hoped that since you said you kept some of your conservative views, that you would at least claim to be an Independent and not Democrat, but it is not for me to choose for you.
Believe me I know that most average Americans will have a tough time, no matter which party is in office. I just prefer, what I believe to be, the lesser of two evils
