First the Libs can’t pass the Fairness Doctrine to silence the freedoms of our airwaves, Now This………..
The UN wants control of our Internet, that’s right they have come to the conclusion that the USA allows too much information to be freely accessed and passed along to the masses and this does not mesh with other countries which do not allow this freedom.
The UN wants to have control the Internet? They can not even run their current affairs without corruption and disgrace. There has been nothing but scandal and crime running rampant within the UN since its beginning. Are we going to allow the United Nations to take over the control of the internet?
Here are a few links from the site Eye On The UN showing some of the UN’s “Handling” of things

I think the current condition of the United Nations is less than capable of doing anything more than wasting the air we breath. The track record of the UN has steadily declined over the past two decades to the point where it’s effectiveness as an entity rivals that of the former League of Nations.
The UN really needs to be disbanded.

The UN had better never gain control of the internet. That is laughable to say the least.
And that is our fault how? Inane!

I couldn’t agree with you more. The UN is a worthless corrupt organization.
I have been extremely disenchanted with the UN ever since the reports of the rapes came out.
Now with the unbalanced attack against Israel in comparison to other countries in which human rights violations are blatant.
There is nothing the UN does that is not questionable. IMHO

I had no idea any of this was an issue, thanks for bringing it up and prompting further research,,,

Yeah, TRM.
I don’t know if that would even be a possibility because
according to webopedia.com:, No one actually owns the Internet, and no single person or organization controls the Internet in its entirety. More of a concept than an actual tangible entity, the Internet relies on a physical infrastructure that connects networks to other networks. There are many organizations, corporations, governments, schools, private citizens and service providers that all own pieces of the infrastructure, but there is no one body that owns it all. There are, however, organizations that oversee and standardize what happens on the Internet and assign IP addresses and domain names, such as the National Science Foundation, the Internet Engineering Task Force, ICANN, InterNIC and the Internet Architecture Board.
